We accept reverse charge calls. If reverse charge calls are not available from your locality, costs incurred in contacting Travel Guard can be included as part of your claim. In remote areas we encourage you to test local phone services to ensure you can reach us in an emergency.

Medical Assistance Services

From physician referrals to coordination of emergency medical evacuations, we see that your travellers’ medical needs are met with expediency and expert care:

  • Assistance with emergency prescription replacement while abroad
  • Special medical services will be arranged when required (e.g., oxygen or a wheelchair)
  • Physician/hospital/dental/vision referral details, when medical attention is required and assist with appointments
  • Medical monitoring assistance during medical care abroad
  • Medical evacuation arrangements, at the direction of the AIG Travel medical team
  • Coordinate necessary repatriation arrangements for the return of mortal remains in accordance with local governmental procedures
